The program runs every month at Trawangan Dive, which is
situated in Gili Trawangan Indonesia. Trawangan Dive was the first ever
established PADI 5 Star IDC Career Development Center (CDC) in Lombok and the
Gili Islands, and today remains the only one in Gili Trawangan. The dive center
is physically one of the largest dive centers in Gili Trawangan and is also one
of the largest PADI certifiers within Indonesia. As well as benefiting from

highly experienced Instructors and gaining an all-round quality educational
experience.
The program in entirely conducted by Platinum PADI Course
Director Holly Macleod; who has an extremely good reputation for both
excellence and success and will ensure her candidates become highly successful PADI
Scuba Diving Instructor. Through her experience of being the largest PADI
Instructor trainer in Indonesia she has developed the perfect program that
develops instructors over and above that generally expected within industry.
The program is conducted in the classroom, swimming pool and
of course in open water. During classroom sessions candidates will learn about
the PADI philosophy, conducting programs, control, sales, marketing, business
of diving, dive theory and PADI Standards and Procedures. During swimming pool
sessions candidates will practice dive skills, rescue techniques and practice
confined water sessions. In open water sessions candidates will practice rescue
techniques, dive site setup and organization and practice open water
presentations.
The PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) runs every
month on an 11 day schedule. Candidates are always strongly advised to arrive a
minimum of 4 days early to take advantage of the free pre IDC preparation
workshops.
